Four Star knives are made from proprietary Special Formula High-Carbon No-Stain stainless steel perfected for almost 300 years. Precision-forged from a single piece of steel using the SIGMAFORGE method, the blade is exceptionally sturdy, balanced, and flexible. Ice-hardened with ZWILLING's signature FRIODUR technique, the blade is harder, sharper, and more resilient, resisting staining and chipping while retaining its edge longer. The precision-honed, laser-controlled edge is set at 15 degrees per side for ideal cutting angle and long-term durability. The ergonomic polypropylene handle is permanently bonded to the concealed tang for a seamless, gap-free construction. Made in Germany.
