Refund policy

At TheHomeAppliances.ca (a division of SANGARIUS CANADA INC.), your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy. Please carefully review the terms below to ensure a smooth process.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Timeframe: Items must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
- Restocking Fee: We do not charge a restocking fee for items returned in their original, unopened packaging.
2. How to Initiate a Return
- Step 1: Reach out to our Customer Service Team at info@thehomeappliances.ca to request a Return Authorization and detailed shipping instructions.
- Step 2: Provide your order number and proof of purchase.
- Important: Items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping
- Responsibility: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective item or an error by TheHomeAppliances.ca.
- Tracking: For your protection, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for returned items lost in transit.

5. Refunds
- Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Processing: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Note: If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven’t received it, please contact us at info@thehomeappliances.ca. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
6. Exchanges
To exchange an item, please initiate a return for the original item. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the replacement item.
7. Non-Returnable Items
he following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:
- Opened vacuum bags, filters, and other consumables
- Personal care and beauty products that have been opened or used (hair styling tools, grooming devices, trimmers)
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
- Large built-in appliances that have been installed
- Custom or special-order items
8. Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately (within 7 days) with photos and a description. We will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.
9. Large Appliance Returns
For large appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers), the following conditions apply:
- Items must be uninstalled prior to return pickup.
- Original packaging must be retained for return eligibility.
- A return pickup fee of $75–$150 CAD (depending on item size and location) will be deducted from your refund.
