ZWILLING Forge 24 cm / 9.5 Inch Carbon Steel Frying Pan is a very special pan that opens up completely new possibilities for frying. Made from high-quality forged carbon steel with a distinctive diamond-pattern base, it delivers exceptional searing and grilling results, from crispy fried potatoes and juicy steaks to perfectly braised grilled vegetables. Seasoning the pan creates a natural protective layer, the patina, which improves with every use, requires less oil over time, and gives the pan its characteristic brown-black color. The welded handle features a hanging loop for convenient storage. Suitable for all stovetop types including induction, as well as grill and oven use.

Important: Before first use, wash off the protective oil film with washing-up liquid, then season the pan by adding a little oil and heating on the stove (medium-high), on the grill, or in the oven at 250°C. The handle also heats up during cooking; always use oven mittens. Clean with hot water and a soft sponge or cloth to preserve the patina.
