ZWILLING Forge Frying Pan, 28 cm / 11 Inch, Carbon Steel is an extraordinary pan that delivers excellent results for searing and grilling. Enjoy crispy fried potatoes, juicy steaks, and perfectly braised grilled vegetables every day. Made from high-quality carbon steel, this forged pan is extremely durable and can withstand very high temperatures up to 1,000°C. The stable bottom prevents warping, and the diamond structure in the base improves non-stick properties while ensuring an even more intense flavour. The extra-long handle with slightly rounded edges is comfortable to hold and features a hanging loop for convenient storage. Note: the handle heats up during cooking; always use an oven mitt when handling.

Before first use, wash off the protective oil film with water and washing-up liquid, then season the pan: add a little oil and heat on the stovetop until the oil evaporates, or season in the oven at 250°C. With each use, a natural black-brownish patina forms, creating a protective layer with non-stick properties that improves over time. Clean with hot water and a soft sponge; avoid detergent to preserve the patina. Discolouration is normal and expected.
