Warranty Policy

At TheHomeAppliances.ca, all products sold are covered by the manufacturer's warranty applicable in Canada. As an authorized dealer for all brands we carry, your warranty is fully valid and supported.

1. Manufacturer Warranties

All products sold at TheHomeAppliances.ca are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty valid in Canada. Warranty duration and coverage vary by product category:

        Major home appliances & floor care: Typically 1-year warranty on parts and labour. Where installation is performed by a manufacturer-certified technician, coverage may extend to 2 years. Extended warranty programs (e.g. multi-year plans) may be available directly through the manufacturer.

        Premium cookware & bakeware (cast iron, stainless steel): Many products in this category carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects under normal household use. Please refer to the documentation included with your product.

        Premium knives & cutlery: Many products in this category carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover normal blade wear or damage from improper use or care.

        Small kitchen appliances & accessories: Warranty terms vary by product line. Please refer to the documentation included with your purchase or contact us for details.

        Reusable drinkware & travel accessories: Warranty terms vary by product. Please refer to the documentation included with your purchase.

Always retain your original purchase receipt — it serves as proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

 

2. How to Make a Warranty Claim

1.     Contact us at info@thehomeappliances.ca with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos.

2.     We will assess whether the issue is covered under the manufacturer's warranty and guide you through the next steps.

3.     Depending on the product and manufacturer, the warranty claim may be handled directly by the manufacturer's Canadian service network, or we may arrange a return and replacement on your behalf.

 

3. What Warranty Does NOT Cover

        Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper installation

        Normal wear and tear (e.g. worn knife edges, scratched non-stick surfaces)

        Damage from using the product outside its intended purpose

        Consumables such as vacuum bags, filters, and replacement blades

        Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
